What are the different types of connections:

FTTC

FTTC stands for Fibre to the Cabinet. Fibre to the cabinet is a connectivity technology that is based on a combination of fibre optic cable and copper cable. The fibre optic cable is in place from the local telephone exchange to a distribution point, hence the name fibre to the cabinet. From this distribution point a standard telephone line based on copper is then used to deliver the broadband connectivity.

ADSL

ADSL stands for: Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. ADSL provides a high-quality, reliable connection. But if you located far away from your telephone exchange, or if the cable has degraded, then speeds can drop dramatically.

Leased Line

Leased line is a private bidirectional or symmetric telecommunications circuit between two or more locations provided in exchange for a fixed monthly cost. Unlike traditional PSTN lines they do not have telephone numbers, each side of the line being permanently connected and dedicated to the other. Leased lines can be used for telephone, Internet, or other data services. Unlike dial-up connections, a leased line is always active.

Wi-Fi for any size business

Wireless Network Connections and Access Points

We have provided Wireless network connections to a variety of business from offices and schools to restaurants and cafes and residential homes. We are fully aware that businesses and buildings range in sizes and that not all the time a WiFi router would suffice for the larger building, that is why we would recommend WiFi access points.

Access Points are hardware devices that allows a WiFi device to connect to a wired network. The access point will connect to a PoE router, switch via an Ethernet cable, and projects an extended Wi-Fi signal to the chosen area. By using multiple access points throughout an office or building staff and guests can roam around without disruptions to their connection.

The devices we use feature a clean industrial design that can be integrated seamlessly into any wall or ceiling surface and keeps your premises looking tidy.
